3CS CEO meets the CEO of .ORG
The CEO of 3CS, Sandaruwan Madduma Bandara, had the honour of meeting Brian Cute, the CEO of the Public Interest Registry, which manages the .org domain extension, during his recent visit to India. Mr. Cute was one of the chief guests who were invited for the Manthan Award Festival 2011, held on Friday, 2nd December 2011, in New Delhi.
Mr. Cute was appointed the CEO of .org on the 1st February 2011. Having extensive experience in the domain name system industry, he has had management positions in both Network Solutions, a domain name Registrar, as Director of Policy, and Verisign, a Registry, as Vice President of Government relations until 2003.
The two CEOs had the opportunity to discuss exciting new initiatives to be brought by the .org organisation, including the introduction of .ngo domain extensions.
